Hi! I’m Judit Orosz, an illustrator and paper engineer based in Hungary.
I graduated from MOME (Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design) with an MA in Animation, where I fell in love with storytelling. However, my heart has always belonged to tangible textures.
My Process: I am an analog soul with a digital toolkit. I create my illustrations by hand using mixed media on paper, because nothing beats the authentic texture of paint and brush. I then digitize and refine these elements to create the final composition.
When it comes to paper engineering, I combine this artistic freedom with precise structural design to create pop-up books and interactive mechanisms. I believe that opening a book should always be a magical, tactile experience.

When I’m not sitting in my home studio, I’m busy finding inspiration in nature and everyday magic with my five children.
